F. DURATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE, DIPLOMA , HIGHER DIPLOMA AND POST GRADUATE DIOLOMA PROGRAMMES

CERTIFICATE COURSES:    Three(3) months
DIPLOMA:    Four (4) semesters
HIGHER DIPLOMA:   Four(4) semesters
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA:    Two(2)  Semesters.
MASTERS:    Three (3) semesters
Doctorate:      Eight (8) semesters

G. ENTRY / ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Professional certificate: SSCE, GCE or any international equivalent certificate
Diploma: 5 O' level credit pass  (GCE/WAEC Or any equivalent international qualification
Higher Diploma: Diploma or any equivalent professional certificate from a recognised institution
Post Graduate Diploma: Higher Diploma, HND, BSc or any equivalent international qualification
Master: BSc, PGD or any professional equivalent qualification
Doctorate: Master Degree,  Fellow member of any recognised local or international professional bodies.

Membership of our Institute can be gained only by passing the institute’s professional membership qualifying examination the AICML  and fulfilling the practical experience requirement.

Diploma in Business Studies (DBS)
Its Objective is to develop fundamental knowledge in the theory and practice of general business organization, the Nigeria business organization, and the functional areas of business organization

AICML Professional Certificate
Its objectives are to:
1.    Train Chartered MANAGERS AND LEADERS  for entitites in manufacturing, commercial or service organizations, in the public or private sector of the economy
2.    To examine whether prospective members have an adequate knowledge, understanding and mastery of the stated body of knowledge or skills
3.    To complement the institute's practical experience requirements

Objectives of the Institute
1.    Based on its enabling instrument, the institute has the following objectives
2.    Promoting the techniques of Management/Administration
3.    To encourage, advance and disseminate knowledge, education, practical training and research in the profession
4.    To exercise effective control of the profession of administration in AFRICA
5.    Determine what standards of knowledge and skills are to be attained by persons seeking to become members of the profession and improve those standards from time to time
6.    Establish uniform or acceptable minimum qualification for entry into the profession
7.    To inform and educate the public of its activities and future programmes through well organized workshop, seminars, publications and conferences
8.    To promote the interest of its members from time to time
9.    Formulate acceptable code of professional conduct, and ethics and to discipline erring members
10.    To carry out other responsibilities as may be defined by council from time to time
